Wind Swept Morning

This morning a storm front was coming in from the west as the sun was rising in the east. The storm appeared to funnel right toward Mount Rainier and wisps of clouds were swept from the crest of the mountain. It was very difficult to keep the camera steady, even on a weighted tripod while attempting to hold the filters in front of the lens.

The light did not turn as red as yesterday morning since the eastern horizon held some clouds that did not allow the right light to filter through. When the light came it turned almost orange and not red. Still another awesome experience to witness another new day… until a few minutes later a torrent of rain joined the wind and I went running for the car.
